Naver's streaming platform Chzzk is going all-in on the 2026 League of Legends World Championship. The company confirmed it will livestream the entire tournament, which runs from October 16 to November 15 in the United States, offering both the official broadcast and its signature "watch together" format featuring popular streamers.

Chzzk's pitch is built around a differentiated viewing experience. Alongside the official Korean-language broadcast on the LCK channel and an English-language broadcast with AI-generated Korean subtitles on the LCK Global channel, viewers can tune into co-streams hosted by seven streamers: Wolf, Gangqui, Cuvee, Bang, V.Cha, Odaming, and Untara. The format lets users react, chat, and enjoy the games together in real time.

The numbers from last year suggest the strategy works. Naver says Chzzk's broadcast of Worlds 2025 recorded 18.15 million cumulative viewers and 39.63 million cumulative views, with peak concurrent viewership during the tournament reaching roughly 560,000.

Four Korean teams — Gen.G, Hanwha Life Esports, T1, and Dplus KIA — will compete at Worlds 2026, giving Chzzk a built-in domestic storyline. For Korean fans, having official Korean-language coverage plus streamer watch parties in one place keeps the whole Worlds month inside a single platform.

Chzzk also plans exclusive watch events during the tournament stage, according to the company's announcement. Naver's entertainment leadership has framed the platform as more than a passive video service — a place where fans participate in the tournament together rather than just watching it.

The move underlines how fiercely platforms are competing for esports viewership rights. With Worlds stretching across a full month, the broadcaster that wins the co-streaming and community experience battle wins the audience — and Chzzk clearly intends to be that broadcaster.
